Marie married twice. She married Chester Henry Dreesen in Nebraska, Bef. 1954. Chester was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa July 17, 1921. Chester was the son of Claus Henry Dreesen and Awilida Belle Pursell. Chester died May 5, 1976 in Omaha, Nebraska, at 54 years of age. She married Archie Hoffman in Fairbury, Nebraska, September 9, 1978. Archie was born in Washington, Kansas January 20, 1921.

Marie Elaine Hysom and Chester Henry Dreesen had the following children:
